Lowered bump stops?
Well my front left shock is fried and I'm looking at replacing it along with the bump stop that's destroyed too.
It's sitting on lowered RSR springs.
I can't find a part number for the stops does anyone have any idea?

Re: Lowered bump stops?
They have 4 different types but they don't specify which ones are for lowered applications.zuihoujueding wrote:does bumpstops from kyb excelG works for you? think i have them in the garage

Who replaces bump stops? It's like replacing the plastic guarding under the engine, rip it off & be done with it!

But but but I thought they were necessary to stop the piston from getting smashed? ?Bennoz wrote:Who replaces bump stops? It's like replacing the plastic guarding under the engine, rip it off & be done with it!

Re: Lowered bump stops?
It shouldnt really get smashed anyway. Only if the car is f**king low and the shocks are fucked.Shhtuart wrote:But but but I thought they were necessary to stop the piston from getting smashed? ?Bennoz wrote:Who replaces bump stops? Unless you live in Sydney where the road is as smooth as a 14 year olds face, don't bother with them.
