How about Nos, i don't want it to be fast all the time, i think NOS will be sufficient for me, how much you guys think it's gonna cost and will the 6A12 handle it?

Wow, dats cheap, for some quick kicks i think it's pretty worth it. 50hp shots? i think that should be enuff and wouldn't hurt the engine too much. Might need to change some of the internals though! hehehe. But FTO with NOS would be so cool

What about cutting the weight instead?
If you could cut 250kg (yeah i'm dreaming) you would knock a second and a half off your 1/4 mile.
Who needs seats? carpet? dashboard? stereo? spoilers? lights?
But seriously I saw a UK doco they put NOS on a diesel golf and raced a NSX. It kept up for a while.
Have you played with:

Don’t want to sound like a party pooper, but before you go using NOS on the Street. (if that is what your planning on doing)
Just imagine this > Car smashes into back of you> you have compressed bottles of NOS in the boot> KABOOOOM!! BIG TIME! Your car and the person who hit you just got blown into a thousand pieces.
Plus the fine for having NOS on the Street is dam expensive.

A NOS kit is about $1000 and can be installed by someone with a little mechanical know how. But the cylinders last only 2 - 3 1/4 mile runs. or 1 lap of a racetrack. So add in the cost of refilling cylinders all the time.
NOS does not act like in the movie ( Fast & Furious), the best use of NOS is at the start of a 1/4 mile with a big turbo with lots of lag. You use the NOS to eliminate the lag thereby letting the turbo spool a lot faster and giving much quicker time. For a high compression ratio FTO you will not get that much increase in performance. You may get 50 hp but only quicken you 1/4 mile times by 1/2 a sec, and no change on the track.
For a $5000 budget you can buy a 6A13 engine for $2500, $1000 to fit it, and $1300 for a unichip. This with the usual pod filter CAI, decent exhaust should get you more usuable HP, times should be at least 1 sec quicker on the 1/4, a lot quicker on the track and no further costs.
Note I recomend upgrading your brakes and suspension before you think about serious HP upgrades.

i dont think you could buy and install a 6a13 with 5k what about the rear turbo against the firewall, the new pipes from the turbos to the intercoolers and to the tb. also what about wiring up the new engine with an auto electrician doesnt that usually cost 1k alone ? also dannyboy mentioned there would be heat problems with twin turbos in such a small engine bay.
I know you obviusly have more experiance in this then me, if the guy installaing your engine can supply and install for 5k sign me up tomorrow
