PRICE DROP!
This car is now for sale with none of the spares. I am now asking $13000.
All spares are for sale sepretly.
1999 FTO GPVR
This car was privately imported by a family friend who looked for a long time to find a car that was up to our standards.
Car has 76,000 kilometres on it.
The car isn’t an everyday car. It is owned & driven by a female car enthusiast & has been maintained no matter of the cost.
The car has tasteful modifications & all original parts are still there & included in this sale
The list of modifications include:
Stainless steel extractors, front pipes & a 2.5" mild steel cat back exhaust + apexi cannon.
ARC air intake box with induction pipe to Hks pod filter.
Cusco base height adjustable coil overs with camber plates.
Mivec controller which is tuned for mivec to kick in at 4000rpm but has rarely been used & is always been left unplugged.
17x8.5 wedsport wheels with Hancook performance tires.
D1 aluminium wheel nuts.
Has a DVD player which has GPS navigation, Bluetooth etc.
Standard features of this rare GPVR edition include:
Front clutch type LSD.
Recaro blue seats in immaculate condition.
Momo steering wheel with airbag.
Aero factory body kit.
Timing belt was replaced with a gates racing belt & all timing bearings & tensioner were replaced regardless of the kilometres so I knew it was all good.
Only used elf racing oils & has been serviced every 4-5000 since I bought the car.
Gearbox oil was replaced when it arrived with high quality total oil for the LSD.
All brake fluid has been replaced & flushed with elf racing fluid & cooling system has been flushed & new water wetter fluid has been used.
The next item on the list was to fit evo 6 brembo brakes which were purchased & will come with the car but have never had the time to fit them. (Had intended to powdercoat & rebuild calipers, then fit)
This car is one of a kind & you will struggle to find something that stands out & is looked after as much as this is.
There are a lot of spares that will come with the sale so please don't hesitate to contact me for more info and inspection please contact me on 0479087648.

LSD that came with GPvR's was a Helical one, not a clutch type.Rinii wrote:Front clutch type LSD.
As Kiz said, I didn't see a price.
Good luck with the sale.

Well if this is in good condition and genuine k's, $15k on the market isn't bad if someone has the money. It'd easily cost you around $14k to get one of the imported from Japan and that's assuming there are any good condition ones with genuine km's still left there. I had to go through like 13 different GPvRs over about 4 months before I found mine that I was happy with to import.
This one also has some goodies like the ARC Chamber and has had additional aftermarket parts added plus brembo brakes to be added
While $15k seems steep, if someone has the money and wants one I think it's worth it.

And also pay over $1k for the 100,000 service they will have to do shortly on the car.. GLWS though as it does look like a nice clean ride. Just not sure how well it will go when you can buy a good 2jz Supra for that coin, and if you want to target a P plater, not many of them will have that cash to splash on a car.kiz wrote:Well if this is in good condition and genuine k's, $15k on the market isn't bad if someone has the money. Good luck with the sale, that is a premium price but it does sound worth it for everything included and that comes with the car. Just gotta find someone willing to spend that amount of coin.
Tip: Throw this in the bin! Many have tested this, including myself on a dyno, and moving the Mivec point will result in immediate loss of power lol!Rinii wrote:Mivec controller which is tuned for mivec to kick in at 4000rpm but has rarely been used & is always been left unplugged.

Re: 1999 GPvR 76000k.
my apologies
GLWS though - imo dont budge from the price.
It definitely is worth 15k - and honestly if someone paid 15k for millsy's GPR (which was just a regular gpr with a few tacky show items put in) then yours will definitely sell at that price
EDIT: if they eventually come up for grabs - dibs on the evo brakes

If you could, I'm sure a lot of people on here would be interested in a quick write up of what is involved in fitting these, whether they're a direct bolt on or whether mods are needed. When you get to itRinii wrote:No worries. They are getting put on in 2 weeks. But yes is some one wants the car cheeper they will be taken off anf there all yours.

Vectose It is a cluch type as a when you spin one front wheel the other spins the same way this would not be the case with a helical.

Re: 1999 GPvR 76000k.
My GPvR and another members I have seen, both spin the same direction in neutral, but if you hold on to one wheel to stop it spinning, the opposite side will still spin.
As standard the GPvR came with a Helical LSD, if it is a clutch type, it is not stock.

You are probably right as the box has not been played with (only oil change) but certanily doesn't feel like one.
