Re: Moving to SA
Container finally arrived at 4pm today
Me and the misses got stuck into unloading it and have unloaded 2/3 of it already.
Remember that hugh black 2 piece toolbox Vectose, it took both of us to get the top box up onto the roller cab? I took it off and out of the container myself :hulk:
Me and the misses even managed to get the 3 seater lounge out and into the house, metal frame 2 inbuilt recliners, f'n heavy.
I believe no help will be required to unload the rest of it
So you can relax kiz

Re: Moving to SA
The contents of the container arrived exactly how it left, nothing moved, although one ratchet strap had worn/torn half way through from rubbing against a chest of draws.Vectose wrote:Good stuff! How did the drums sound?
The drums are in the garage/shed in perfect condition, but I am yet to put them back together. Thanks again for tuning them

Dude, do you have a black stripe on your hood? If so, yes that was me who was roaring down North East Road today.

Re: Moving to SA
Started my new job today.
First impressions are good, just need moar time to get to know everyone (no one talked to me today
).
I worked on my own setting up a new mini tractor.
The house is 50% set up, need to buy a computer desk so I can stop stealing my sons laptop.

Gotta get you to a meet at some stage too. Mind you we're a bit disorganized at the moment

Re: Moving to SA
First work week over, people are now becoming friendly and talking with me
Wendnesday I worked on a big f'n harvester, Thursday/Friday I was out on the road with another mechanic, we had to go and fix a tractor with broken driveshaft/uni's, the tractor broke down going through a gate on a farm, 1.5 hours drive from work to the tractor.
Have also done a bit of local touring on the weekends, as well as building a sh*t load of flat pack furniture for home.
I now have my PC up and running again
Some pics...
Home...

Port Pirie from across the water, my home town...

Port Pirie from the Southern Flinders Ranges...

Port Augusta...

2 nice pics I took...

Harvester at the workshop...

The tractor with the broken drive shaft...

Amongst the 12 pages of thread, I'm sure it's there, but which town are you living in again?
