I'm getting mine done in leatherette (it wears MUCH better than leather) and a smidge of suede with suede piping. Also need some padding in the usual spot on the drivers seat. Upholsterer quoted me $450 per seat. I'm providing the suede because he doesn't have pink

Don't have them in my car but Dwayne has them on his. Did spend some time sitting inside his car and the seats were comfy as hell. They kind of wrap around you.

You can try emailing them and get some quote for the leather option of the Recaro Speed?

I am looking at getting a set in some time but am not going for leather. Dad had leather seats on his Land Cruiser. They looked good but the hassle of maintaining them is the negative factor for me. And you can't drive without ac in the summer else the seats would be all sweaty.

I fitted a set from "proseat" (aka Max) when I had my FTO and they were really good.

got a set for my spyder, just got to find time to fit them. should be done by next BBQ!

about $450 and a couple of hours work.

and his colour range is outstanding, even pink for those inclined (& Queenslanders).

Considering how close you are, do you want me to go get you a quote and find out how long it will take? You're more than welcome to crash here for the night :)
