If you can pick up another set cheap enough, get some other seats and get some rails made up to fit the FTO

For example
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PAIR-BLACK-P ... e3f&_uhb=1
Be fairly cheap to get someone to fab up some quick rails to fit and you're done for under 800 bucks installed id say (inc postage on seats)

Don't do what tylar has suggested lol
IMO the stock seats are really good looking and leather ones are amazing..
The ones tylar posted are illegal and not ADR approved and don't look as good...
I swear you can get them done for under a grand but you'd have to look around..

A couple grand for real leather. You can get leatherette covers for about $600 from proseat.

That's for front and rear.

Is there much difference between the two when it comes to care and how long they will last without cracking?

Qld humidity + hassle of maintaining them + leather seats = bad idea.
But... recaro seats with lumbar support = omfg crazy idea. :)
