They are mounted to the bottom of the board that the sub box is sitting on.

So that's not a space saver then...do you have rear strut bars? The strut bars take up quite a bit of space as well.

In regards to struts, I have no idea...

I have 4 space savers
The strut in the boot is just a bar that goes from one side to the other from the suspension. I can show you at the DIY, i also have struts
