Hopefully get some good news on tuesday.
All other companies ive gotten a quote through have been 920+
Ive Pm'ed ritici, now enquiring how driveable it really is, and if i can bring a radiator or something down to temporarily hold the overheating at bay till it gets home. A long shot but might pay off. Just need it to hold till brisssie - binning the motor after that and dropping the GPR one in.
Although after 250 in fuel, 80 on permit, flights and food it will still be a good 500.
Worst case ill prepare for a 920 bill.
Still a good bargain after a heavy freight bill anyway :)
I would say given his description of the waterpump, that is the source of overheating. But I am no Mechanic by a longshot..
I just had to add it ......

If it is overheating due to loss of coolant, put a large water tank with a pump on the passenger seat, hose out the window into the overflow bottle and keep pumping water in

I'd be going with that, seems pretty cheap to me anyway

2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.

Opt for door to door .. Less hassle when you are not sure what condition the car is in.
