holy sh*t! are you f**king kidding me?
how the f**k did they manage to do that!
When the guy rung me twice, there was no mention anywhere anything was damaged. What a f**king joke!
Did they not read the consignment notes or think what would happen if they stacked sh*t on top of it (after i specifically stated not to?)

And Xena has taken a week to get her package which is less than 400km away, quoted 2-3 days max and Toby is still waiting on a package i would assume would take a week as well (already taken more than the alotted time)

Definitely not using them again, as their service has declined since day 1.
I guess the only good thing that will come of this is a $250 pay out from insurance i luckily took out (it is an option, if i didnt pay an extra 30 bucks to get it - no damages are covered...)
Although im sure we can both agree a VR wing would be better....

Did you take the cardboard that was off the ends off or did it come like that?

My apologies Stuart, i dont know what to say about all of this :?

Lucky Taz took out insurance :(

It was sitting like this when I got there. No cardboard on the sides. They said it was like that when it arrived.

I'm so bummed right now.

won't have had anything stacked on it, most likely will have been stacked on top of a pile and will have fallen onto something else.

Sucks that it's been broken, and definitely glad that we only send suspension kits via them (they're harder to break than fibreglass  )
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

=(

They must have tampered with it in some way. That sheet was completely wrapped around the whole spoiler, and i put several layers of cardboard securely taped to the shitter over the corners there - expecting thats where damage would occur if anything (as i did not expect these f**king retards to stack things on top of a spoiler ffs) There is no way the ends would come off under normal circumstances...
Needless to say, i will no longer be using them anymore, encourage anybody here not to use them anymore (btw this isnt the first time ive had to claim for negligence) and will definitely be letting them know of both mine and Stuarts disgust and the service.

If indeed nothing was stacked on top of it and it 'fell' it would of been from some height. It takes quite a bit of force to do what is pictured there - especially the ends of the spolier being completely shattered. I daresay something heavy fell onto it more likely (or something stacked on top) either way its a f**king joke.

I almost feel sorry for the poor girl who will return the email and deal with the claim - shes gonna cop a good one!

I should make them source a new one somehow ffs

Damn that sucks.

So if their saying that it arrived like that, then does that mean their challenging the payout?

Theres no way they could challenge a payout.
The first and most obvious reason being, they wouldnt accept a delivery like that and not suspect something when insurance is taken out on it etc. They would of said something.
And if they do, then ill take the c**nts to court. Simple.

Wtf!! File for the insurance. I always take date and time stamped pics of fragile parcels before sending them and video while opening them for this very reason.

Wow. Just wow. Looking at the photos Stuart sent me and this one actually makes it look the best. Seriously its indefinitely not repairable - even the boot itself has been all bent out of shape and its pressed sheet metal 8O

So just got an email back and theyve approved the claim for $250 - even though i was in breech of improper packaging for the boot and wing. Not sure what lengths they expect people to go but short of strapping it to a pallet inside of a crush-proof box it was going to get damaged...
Unfortunately the company i thought i would go through from now on is the SAME DAMN COMPANY.
E-go, realtimeexpress, and another company (cant remember the name right now) are all affiliates of the same company, and i realised this after i saw the same truck driver come out to collect Tobys order.
Which means im pretty sure that theyre all the same trucks everywhere (why they choose 3 different companies i have nfi)
Guess from now on its auspost or companies like DHL which are a bit more expensive (or people can take the gamble  )
At least this will be settled and Stuart gets 100 bucks as a sorry we fucked up.

RIP gpr wing, RIP
