Going from 5sp tip to 5sp manual.
How do I defeat neutral safety switch?
How to install clutch switch and get reverse light to work?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Manual convert wiring
For the neutral safety you will need to join the two bigger wires (on the large black plug on auto loom) together, it's the black wire with yellow stripe and black with red stripe.
For the reverse sensor, wire in the red with blue stripe and black with yellow stripe (small wires) - they're next to each other on the auto plug.
What do you mean by clutch switch?

Would I be able to start the car with the clutch down?

Re: Manual convert wiring
Should be able to start it with clutch up or down - doesn't matter. There's no clutch switch.

Re: Manual convert wiring
Only need a clutch switch if you're installing cruise control so that the engine doesn't rev its t!ts off when you change gear.

I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

You can install one if you want it as a safety feature though.

Make sure u tell them what it for though as nuts and bolt have different grades wouldn't want the replacements to snap the heads off after putting it back together
gotta get there one day :)

Re: Manual convert wiring
Went arp for flywheel bolts from ford 2.0l zetec engine. The reverse light wires are on the same black connector as the neutral wire or is it on the connector leading to the gear selector assembly?
