I'm pretty sure our fleet of half fknQLDers and half NSW legends will be there in the morning. Unsure of the exact time yet.

Bad news, we're officially out of this years event.

The red rockets gearbox is a mess & I can't get the parts I need for it in time, and on top of that, after a lengthy paper trail I now have to help move my folks up to the central coast on Saturday.

*sigh*

If there is any good to come of this, I now have a keg all to myself

Affirmative. As in the one I will be using for my project. Should get you to the Bonfire and back at least. Was running fine before it got sent down to me as far as I know.

don't be a girl. you have 3 days and a spare gearbox now to get ready. If you don't show up, we will drive by your house and egg it. ...with hard boiled eggs, so it's easier to clean up, maybe a kinder surprise or two as well... but I'm keeping the toy!!

what was I saying? oh.. right, don't be a girl.

Yes, because I really want to put a temporary box on it, then have to come back & swap it again :facepalm2:

Appreciate the Lawso-esque offer though

Yeah... it broke down every day last week lol. It was better yesterday though... and I'm not game to drive it in the pissing rain today. I'll get run over  The thought did cross my mind though!

Lets just say it's still in the 'teething' stage. Strangely enough, when I put the classic car insurance on it, the NRMA also threw in free roadside assistance if I was over 100kms from home... they know
