I assume non mivec 6a12 and mivec 6a12 the same?

If so here is the gates timing belt for mivec .

T987.

you can call Meikong Spares in canley vale. They should have belts for both models.

ok i got a T987 from autobarn. But i'm not sure if they gave me the right belt number? Is this confirmed for the GR? Its 99 bucks as well, so its bout the right price.

so if they gave me a T987 as well, obviously its for the mivec model as you fitted your to your mivec.

Top one is definately Mivec as I have used it.

Bottom The shop isnt too sure as it could be for the 1.8 litre?

because T986 could be for non mivec too as 6a12 is the same engine with different heads for mivec and non mivec??

just call up and anyone will help you. Just Say Stevens Prestige in Lansvale sent you there as u are a customer of theirs. It would help. Then give them your credit card detail and explain to them that you cant obtain one in Melbourne and you want them to send one down.
