How to disable ABS?

Post by Astron_Boy »

Working on a theory.

To disable the ABS do I simply remove the 3 associated relays in the front fuse box, (K) (J) and (4)?

Cheers

Yeah, figured that in the end, was (4).
Didn't solve anything, but atleast I know how to disable it.

No, had a thought the ABS was partially causing the noise we keep hearing.
Plus when you engage drive, let the car roll forward a bit without using the accelerator pedal, the brake pedal pulses up and you get a weird noise.
Disabling the ABS stopped the pedal pulse and noise on take off, but the other 'accustomed' noise is still present.

If its a mechanical noise the only thing it can be relating to the abs is the abs ring running on something, eg. the speed sensor.
