Window Tint
does anyone know what it costs to tint the fto?
is darker more expensive and is there any particular good places in newcastle area to get it done?
oh and how long does it tAke?

Darker more expensive when I looked at doing it it was 250 for the whole car at legal darknesss then something like 400+ for real dark
Dont know of any good places but should take no longer then a day even if there busy

....worked well on dads 280zx
dark as, frustrating trying to get it perfect though...

I've tried it before on my old a3 and f**king failed big time. Failed at removing the old tint properly and major failed at applying the new tint

Use a heat gun to get the old sh*t off and it has to be extremely clean!... no dust whatsoever or there will be bubbles lol

From memory I used a butter knife and a paint scraper

I'm going to get it professionally done and really dark, I think 3% is the darkest yeah?

Its 35% light must be allowed through in NSW. Not sure about other states.

3% you will get defected without a doubt. Thats way too dark.

Darkest is 0%, black paint.
And I wouldn't recommend going any lower than 20%. Even with 20% you can barely see anything at night.
Altapac in Kotara do a good job, few of my mates have gotten their tint done there.

I got a guy down the road. Dark as you want.. Pulls the glass out to tint and clean.. And all for under $200..
I just had to add it ......
