Brake pads and rotors

Post by kenish1 »

Hey all,

I'm pretty sure I need new brake pads and possibly rotors (makes a grinding metal noise while driving and the steering wheel shakes while braking) but want to ask you experts a couple of Q's:

1. Is it worth buying them from a shop like Supercheap (I have a 94 GR and limited cash)

2. Is it hard to change them yourself or easier just to send it into the mechanics

Cheers guys

Pick up rda rotors from super cheap. Most of us use Ebc brake pads (red/green). Not hard to change the rotors and pads if you have the correct tools and have some know how about working on cars. Remember, you would have to bleed and top up your brake fluid once the pads and rotors are in place.

hi all

I have been trolling the net looking for specials of brake rotors for the FTO
I have been looking for DBA rotors and they have quite a few different models.
One inparticular I have been looking at is the discontinued DBA547X.
I have found two australian .com.au sites that have them listed at what i think must be an error but it is strange that they both have them at the same price

Does anyone know or has anyone delt with these companies.

this site says the rotor suits a CHRYSLER SEBRING but on cross reference with DBA it does not :?

If the price is correct and they have stock

8O :) :D
