R.I.P. Daniel Pieszko 1990 - 2009

It was quite hard to watch that situation unfold, an unfortunate loss.

Reading your post gave me goosebumps and brought me to tears, he must have been a wonderful young man that a lot of people loved dearly, and im sure he knows that! Cancer is a terrible dissease and only when it hits close to home do you really open your eyes to the severity of it, im sure though that almost everyone knows someone in their lives that has or had cancer, lived or passed away.

It is very strange though how a trauma related incident can lead to the discovery of cancer, my sister 3 years ago now had a very smal car accident at flushcombe road in btwn at the roundabout where the lights are, and just had wiplash... 1 week later she was hospitalalised with severe chest pains, and then diagnosed with 3 tumors in her chest...one 8cm! she was one of the lucky ones though.

Now everytime i see her and my beautiful godson (who is one on saturday!) i remember how life can be so unexpected and i treasure everyday i get to speak with her on the phone or see them. and also send my prayers out to those who are suffering the way she was. and also the people who suffered like i did whatching someone you love be in so much pain. And i dont want to even imagine how you felt losing him.

My thoughts are with you and his family. Rest in peace Daniel.

I hate cancer
Lost my grandfather to it on the 10th of Dec last year

I know its been a while,

but I'm still thinking about his story and continue to mourn his passing.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.
