lol .. I have found a guy to help me with the re-spray as well ... Just not sure if I want to do it straight away, or let the wife drive it for a little while... I just know she is going to scratch it... lolCassf88 wrote:That is looking really good...even with the condition of the bonnet!!! So glad she's no longer nameless, like a re-birth
I am thinking of giving her back the Recaro seats as well ... She prefers the feel of them to the normal FTO seats... So will see how we go with that one... I may keep them till they get re-trimmed...
I just had to add it ......

The only self inflicted damage i ever made to the car is the underside of the body kit, the scrape on the front passenger side because of the clearance of the car. I don't think she'll be bad however, she is on L's

Couple of close calls with her over the past 2 days.. But we are getting there... She is not a fan of the Cusco's... Ohh darn, looks like those will have to go on my car...
I love the Cusco's over the G4's... Have been driving her car to work every day instead of mine...

Re: Rock_it & Sanjna's New Ride
Well, what a fun day yesterday ...
OK, so have had no stereo in the car since purchasing, so thought I would tackle this today. Some weird electronics in this thing... Looks like the harness for the cigi lighter is drawing constant power .. So not sure on that one.. But we press on...
Replaced the broken actuator for the central locking. Couldn't get a single actuator at short notice, so hit up SCA just 10 mins before closing yesterday.. So picked up a kit for $49. Will look at putting their module in as well, so I can use the remote...
So finally fixed that....
Back to the stereo ... After blowing a fair few fuses under the bonnet, and DMM'ing everything in the car, came to the conclusion that the Kenwood head unit, and Response TV had to go. I think it was the Kenwood that was doing the damage, but ditched them both to be sure. Luckily my mate had a spare head unit laying around. Just means the wifes car has a better unit than mine... But that can be swapped over later.. Just needed something in there to work.
While at SCA, picked up a cheap set of Fusions to get me through... Will hunt for some 6x9's now for the rear... May amp later, but no plans as yet.

Will have to hit up Dwayne for a din pocket now.. lol ..

These just rocked up today. Me thinks an early mark from work today to play with cars is an option..

And to live up to my word, early mark and installed. Easy couple of minute job, and direct fit. Well worth it!
