Re: Syntax's 4G93T Build
Update Time!
Things that ive found out;
You need a Lancer CE-CH Starter motor.
You can save some time with a Lancer Fuse/Relay Box.
You need to mod the 4G93T gearbox plate as the starter sits to high for the gearbox and the flywheel.

Here you can see i have added a 2nd bolt hole and ground the circle down to allow the starter to be close and suit the new hole

All together

the already known was a issue, slave problem.

All 4 engine mounts replaced.

Almost there

I haven't yet. Im looking into cutting the mounts off the slave rotating it so the inlet and bleed face down and weld the mounts back on.spetz wrote:Good stuff Syntax

Failing this the only other option is to use the two bolt hole on the right side of the fork to make a mount and then a long L shape bar welding to the fork

Very nice!
Just curious though, why'd you go for the house & garden tip (hollow) style lower mounts? Surely 150 odd atwkws would call for the solids?

I seriously thought about it, however since its a project daily and wont get driven with to much lust, its a hybrid combo. solid rear mount and have hot glue modded on the remaining 3 mounts instead. Hot glued a mates audi and pug both gave excellent feel without vibration.
And no its not just hot glue like kids hobby stuff, its actually 3M Windo-Weld Super Fast Urethane
I forgot to take a pic of the mount glued. (i'll update it later)
Pic for reference

people forget about the FTO GS. its a 4g93 1.8 SOHC with the FM5A-2 Box, hence the 2nd starter housing.
The 4g93T bolts to it like its a factory option

just funny how this bell housing stud patter is so common between the Mitsubishi models does that mean the fto box will bolt up to a 463t?
FTO ftw

No the 4G6X Sirius Platform only shared the mounts of this year. The Platform had its only gearboxes
the FTO box "should" bolt to 4G91, 4G92 SOHC, 4G92 DOHC, 4G92 DOHC Mivec, 4G93 SOHC, 4G93 DOHC, 4G93 Turbo, 4G93 GDI Turbo, 4G94 SOHC, 4G94 GDI Turbo, 6A12, 6A13
