ive double checked all fuses relays connectors when you start the car if you rev it stright away you can rev it as hard as you want but if you let it return to idle and then rev it has like a rev limiter at 2500 rpm sound like launch controll any ides

Does the engine light come on when this happens?
Is it auto or manual?
If auto, does the "N" in the dash start flashing?

Sounds a bit like cold engine rev limiter or ecu putting engine into safe mode.

You could disconnect the battery for a while, it may reset ecu.

Have you had the battery disconnected, today, before trouble started?
Did you fuel up just before trouble started?
Did you play/work on engine inbetween working and not?

Do you have a spare throttle body with sensors attached to change over and test?

This is how it reads from workshop manual...

Poor acceleration - inability to obtain an acceleration corresponding to the degree of throttle opening, even though acceleration is smooth, or the inability to reach maximum speed.
Engine Poor Acceleration.jpg
It states "Malfunction of the air/fuel ratio control system"
FTO's are renound for failing TPS sensor, this controls the air/fuel mixture, as such why I asked if you had a spare complete throttle body to test.

Should also manual test the ecu for codes...

That's great news 8)

I was making sure it wasn't something basic first, that's why all the questions.
The TPS was always my first theory, but needed to work my way to it.

I don't know what other models share the TPS.
