3 inch is the I.D. size of most common filter mouths. You need to at least 3.5, other wise every c*nt is going to get the sh*ts & need to grind out the hole - you included.

Sorry, I don't like the box you have chosen and I would want one made out of polished alloy/stainless steel. My POD filter would require a 4"+ hole. I would want an intake holes for stock and cold air.

I think I will design my own, one day :D
