A sh*t load of cheap as degreaser do what you can with that and then go down to the local car wash and open your bonnet and use the engine degreaser it should be green and then use high pressure spray... Make sure to bag your pod though and try not get that wet if it's not in a box...

No don't get sh*tty cans of degreaser, it smells like sh*t for weeks and isn't all effective.

Get "Shift it" from Autobarn, you mixed it up with water in a spray bottle and is more powerful compared to spray cans.

Sahin you can vouch for it cos you've seen the 121 engine bay, I used it on that.

Looks like this, the amount of all those cans of degreaser can buy you this bottle and have some left over, it does not smell at all.

With these engines, do we have to watch how much water gets around the spark plug covers? Did this to a Celica a few weeks back and had water leak inside and f**k the plugs

I have a car wash next to my workshop and probably once or twice a week they come to us for help with a car they just cleaned the engine.
