It takes a lot longer than 20 minutes if you want to get a good finish.

Takes me 10 minutes for both. 1200 grit sand paper and machine polish.

You can even skip the sand paper and machine compound will work.

You cannot get a good finish with a hand buff no matter how good you are with your hands! Polishes require heat to work right, no amount of elbow grease can get the polish hot enough to get the compounds to work right.

Hi payaya,
Will you be about to do mine? If so how much would you charge? Or do you know anyone who can do it? I really need to get mine done but i just haven't got the time, i'm currently doing a lot of renovations to my place, thanks.
Regards,
Bj.

Poor payaya

Agreed with the machine polish though, no elbow grease can even come close to the finish that a machine buff is, you can get the buff and all the components you need for like $50 from your local hardware store, well worth every cent of it!

Just thought & let everyone know that i found out that Jim's car cleaning are able to fix the Scratched / Delaminating Headlights, the guy that's in my area said his able to do it for $60 for both headlights & has done it before. So i'll make a booking with him some time in the next few weeks & let you know how it goes =)

Hi Everyone,

Just thought & update this subject, the guy from Jims car cleaning did an awesome job with my headlights, i definitely recommend him to anyone who don't have the time to do it themselves & who are happy to pay $60, took him about an hour or so. The silly thing is that i forgot to take a picture before the job...but i took a picture after he finished. Let's just say before...it was really bad...it was yellow, not very clear & with plastic bits everywhere. I've attached the after pic & his details. =)

I gave my local Jim's a call and it was $90 for both lights
So ended up buying a DIY headlight restoration kit ~ $49 from autobarn and mine look amazing, went from yellowy and peeling to good as new all you need other than the pack was a drill
