Is the AC Condensor for the 96 gpx FTO, the same as a 96 model CE Mitsubishi Lancer? I have read somewhere that it is the same but felt it best I ask on here...
Found this one on eBay as mine apparently is cracked and the AC guy wanting to charge some outlandish figure to order from Mitsu direct...

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: AC Condensor
lines on FTO one are on both sides but if your willing to redo new ones no reason why cant make any condensor fit.
Would not recommend what I did and remove all A/C components only round 10kg weight loss and minimal power gains due to less load but one f**king awful cabin come summer

Re: AC Condensor
Dwayn said they are the same, but I was working on the same model lancer couple weeks back and they look different. The lancer does have the inlet and outlet pipes on once side, like the fto but the inlet and outlet pipes are either side of the condenser and the outlet then routes around the top of the condenser back to the outlet pipe on the right side of the engine. The mounting points of the ac pipes just looked way off to me, but I can guarantee it!

Where is it cracked? Mine was cracked on the bottom most fin so I got it chopped out and I got aircraft grade welder to weld it
