From memory, Tiff explained it (and showed it frequently) as lifting off on entry to a bend, turning the wrong way and then quickly back the other way while hitting the power. Basically the same as a 4wd (or so he said).
Of course, it helps when you are driving a test car. I reckon I would give it a go under those circumstances!

its not THAT hard to do, but also depends on the setup for your suspension,
eg at the moment i have a front strut brace, making the front stiffer than the rear...this helps if you wanna let the tail slide
and depending on the corner, it can be as easy as letting off the throttle at the moment of turning, shifts the wait forward, ass slides out
mini drifts arent THAT hard(but dont do em anywhere unsafe)....if only you could do the long power/burn out drifts in a FWD

The handbrake isnt essential for FWD drift, as with RWD drift it just helps.
From a basic stand point all you really want to do is de-stabilize the back end and have it slide out. There are a few ways to accomplish this without the use of the handbrake. YES it can be technical, YES it can be difficult and YES it takes a shitload of practice but once again FWD drift is not impossible, does not definately require the use of the handbrake, and does have, contrary to popular belief, an interest group attached to it.

three words buddy - space-saver tyres lololol... fit both of them on the rear then steer the car as explained by Tiff in Sean's post. there's no hope in hell for those space-savers to gain any grip once the rear end becomes loose...MADFTO wrote:.....there has got to be a way to force the read end to slide out with resorting to the hand brake in a FWD.
