Sunroof sunshade
Just wondering if FTO models that have a sunroof have a sunshade?

Yes they do originally, but I doubt you'll find any shades on them these days.

Can you buy the stock/aftermarket part or do you need to DIY one if you want one these days?

Dont know about that one. The stock part I assume would be expensive from Mitsi if they have them at all, that is, and Im not sure about aftermarket ones. Never had a sunroof personally.

Re: Sunroof sunshade
If you want to save a headache, don't get a sunroof.
There's a recent thread on the troubles of the sunshade coming dislodged.
That and other problems.
FYI, we're not asleep, just busy spamming other threads.
EDIT: oh yeah, enjoy yours Daniel... lol. Thought you wanted an FTO without issues.

Yeah I'm 50/50 on it. Id love a working one but dont want the headache of a broken sunroof. Its aftermarket though, and only leaked right after installing, which it got apparently fixed under warranty and no problems since.Astron_Boy wrote:If you want to save a headache, don't get a sunroof.

It's aftermarket so I assume would be a little bit more universal and cheaper to fix if something went wrong, although I could be wrong.

It's a hole in the roof. There's a reason I opted for the not so common Mercedes without one.
Even if they are the better quality roofs of the bunch.

Yeah, Im still slightly skeptical about it.. however I assume that because its aftermarket it will be cheaper and easier to fix if theres any issues.Astron_Boy wrote:It's a hole in the roof. There's a reason I opted for the not so common Mercedes without one.
