Re: KIDO Racing coilovers
just got back from the seller. i mentioned about my forum and managed to get some indicative pricing...i must say its pretty attractive.
1 kit cost USD700.
5 kits more cost USD650 / per kit
10 kits more cost USD620 / per kit
ofcos there will be additional postage charges.
i need to get these pretty soon, maybe in 2weeks-1month time.

Re: KIDO Racing coilovers
5 seems more than reasonable i would imagine at 650 - im sure they can combine shipping too saving even more, might be able to pick up some nice coilovers for under 800.
I would be interested in a few months once funds are back up to standard from purchasing other coilovers
Then its a battle of who gets to go in which car

Dont forget to factor in taxes. If you buy more than one set you'll be slugged for the import tax for going over the $1000 threshold, which is 10-20% (I've never paid it so cant remember the exact figure)

Re: KIDO Racing coilovers
Customs is 5% + plus they'll hit you for internal freight / insurance, then add 10% GST to the total value of all those bits (inc. initial purchase price.)BI65ND wrote:Dont forget to factor in taxes. Key would be to see if you could get them to write down the declared value....

Re: KIDO Racing coilovers
What would be the ideal front/spring rate for general road use on Sydney roads?

Re: KIDO Racing coilovers
4kg Front
3kg Rear
That was the most popular for a stiff ride and not feeling like you took a punch to the kidneys overtime you got out of the car..

Re: KIDO Racing coilovers
my oral health and back are already gone case...no point spending anymore $ on those....lol
I did give my feedbacks to the manufactuer about F5/R3 setting, but they felt it might be too soft. Cause back in Taiwan, they are convinced that their road condition (in Taiwan) is worse than here at Sydney (im not so sure) and F7/R5 is the suitable soft setting, so they suggest to try out over here.
