I once bought a car I never saw for $50 bucks, lent it to a mate (apparently) and while he had it, it got stolen. I didn't know till the coppers rang & asked why I'd ditched my car in the middle of an intersection in Chippendale

I had to pay towing, removal & destructions cost... needless to say, those costs were passed on to my mate
