OK, that set have all the proper connectors, so they should just plug in. There will be a plug in front of the fusebox under the dash. When you unplug it, each end will plug into the short lead with the thicker wires that came in the package. It will only fit the one plug, so you should be able to find it. Pretty sure there was a thread a while back with pictures. A bit of a search should find it

Does any of these kick plates come with the 'fto' light in red? Or can the bulb colours inside be changed?

No, they didn't come in red.
They are not bulbs, but EL panels and yes you can buy the EL panels from eBay in different colours.
What I usually do when using EL panels is buy a white one then use a coloured translucent plastic sleeve folder and place it over the top to change the colour. I find that the colour is much more vibrant than the coloured EL panels, especially red.

You could put a 'Gel' over it to change the color, but it will mostly turn out Burple.
EDIT: or do as Vectose mentioned.

I have put a purple translucent folder on mine to make them a darker blue. The thing is, you really need a white EL panel to get the colour you want using an overlay.
