Youll find the HIDS are missing because the current compliance rules result in them being modified to take normal bulbs. A crock really as there are production cars that have them that suffer from the same apparent design limitations and they dont have tobe removed.

The factory HID bulbs are D2S, but first make sure that your headlights are indeed factory HID and not a aftermarket HID kit.
AFAIK the D2S bulbs are very expensive to buy locally and you would be better off buying them from overseas.

Nope, Factory HIDS are attached to the underside of the headlights (you wont see them). And they are in a silver box. So, if you have a black box on the back, thatll be aftermarket HIDS.

      Yep,

You are right, thats factory, but that isnt the ballast, thats just the cover for the bulb. The ballast (if it is still there) is beneath the headlight and consists of a silver box bolted directly to the underside of the light. You would probably have to take the light out to see it though. The fact that the plug has not been modified suggests that it maybe hasn't been butchered during compliance. I can send pics if you need as I have spares on the shelf in my garage.

I know which FTO you're talking about cause I almost bought it lol, matter of fact most of the members here will too cause the seller was a member here, he was at the last bonfire meet up. It has a Facelift bodykit with a black stripe thru the middle right? The harmonic balancer is chipped so the belt kept coming off so he just took it off, which is why the aircon and power steering don't work cause thats what that belt runs to I believe, you'll also need to change the harmonic balancer, compressor and the engine mount. He said his mate was driving the car and went thru a podhole and into a island? or something like that. Neat car just needs some TLC. He also said he was gonna order the parts from Dstocks?

Yarr!! That's the one man :)
        No more black stripe though!!

Another thing... Found out last night it has a map sensor just chilling zip tied up the back of the engine bay?? Anybody have any idea why?

The MAP sensor lives at the back of the engine bay, attached to the fire wall.
I believe the previous owner took the HID globes out as they were blown, he couldn't find an inexpensive source to replace them so he just left them out.
You might want to rewire your stepper motor too, if it was me I would try to get the loom socket off of a wreck and wire it in.
"The car went thru a podhole and into a island" I put the air con belt on that FTO for him, it was all ok back then.
....and your mirrors don't fold back anymore ;)

BTW, my FTO is quicker than yours

Open those mirrors and get to work. 90% of the time it's the two small metal connectors which compete the circuit are at fault and can be fixed with some super glue and TLC. The other 10% is the motor inside them. Easy job. There's a guide for it in the Diy section.

        And WTTC :)

That FTO has already tryed to go against mine  Your only chance is a stop start, if I spin up my fronts all through first and into second.
BTW, this is all done on private property of course ;)
The sensor on the throttle body, under where the intake pipe meets the throttle body. Are'nt your wires going to the Stepper joined all bodgy?

Here is some pics when your FTO and mine met.......
