Shortened version of this story, I went up to mens clothing (shall remain nameless as this is still on going lol) to grab a few new pairs of jeans. As per usual, no one ever stocks my size, a 38 long (being 6'5 sometimes does have it's disadvantages) so the ever helpful sales guy tells me he'll order in the 2 pairs in the styles I wanted. 1 was coming form one store, one from another. I could already smell the failure.
Its been 6 weeks now, a dozen phone calls, 5 visits to the store & I still only have 1 of the 2 pairs. Over the 5 visits to the store, there has been sh*t all over the floor & the excuse every time has been 'We're really sorry man, we're in the middle of stock take..." I dunno about everyone else, but if my stock take lasted 2 months, my company would go broke
I was getting the sh*ts, but now these feeble kids running the store just give me a chortle. No wonder the retail industry in this country is going down the shitter. 'ebusiness' will eventually kill it like the archaic dinosaur that it is. I should have ordered them through eBay, I'd have them by now & for half the price.Over all of this, the bit that made me lol the hardest was the Gen why guy who has been trying to sort this out for me. Again today I got an earful of "Really sorry man / wont happen again / wont happen on my watch / really sorry again 'dude' / wont happen again" but what really kills it? The guy is a dead ringer... for Lawso
