V-tec killa

Post by csvperformance »

I have a Fto GPX manual, and the only Honda I have raced was an old Integra Type R, wasn't too bad of a race but we done him.

never ever drag a type-r but everyone told me type r are faster then FTO manual, which i would think so anyway

but DC2 is less power then DC5 ... so don't know about the old one, the new one no way we'll get kill by them :D

I reckon whoever was draggin the dc2 should of wonder what mods were under its hood, cos i've seen acouple of dc2 and dc5 in the western suburbs of melb and they go hard......I am proof, cos i got nailed by a car n half length :( .
I actually drove a dc5 w/ only 2.5 inch exhaust from cat and apexi intake, and i'm tellin yah it flies....sorry bout this info buts its troo.
But I still prefer my fto over it cos it looks way exotic!!! Muahahahaha. :D

i always wonder about these arguments about which is better, or supra kills fto or fto kills civic and on and on and on... does supra really kill FTO.. does it really, you line up a NA supra and see what happens. a civic in stock form wont beat an FTO, none that ive seen anyway. so becasue danny has a monster that must mean that fto's kill monaros and whatever danny has dragged and whomped. i can hardly see the argument someone would have stating that their stock car is better then anothers because some one somewhere has spent more money then is sane making his car a beast, and good on them, but i believe cars can only be compared as they are, not after they have been turned into something else. who is the most mod or custom friendly car is a good arument and so on..

am i making sence? i know three brothres years ago they built a datsun with a big block v8, did it themselves over a LONG time, cut the dash back and everything, then dragged it and the damn thing obliterated everyone and fell to pieces while pulling the lunge on a MONO! does that mean datsuns rule and would destroy our FTO's .... i think not.

i dont know, it just seems a lop sided argument.. maybe its just me lol 8)

as usual i lost the plot on that post, so some up for everyone.

you dont race bikes and motorbikes, you dont drag sesnors and jets.

in a race between a stallion and a donkey with a rocket up its arse. it doesnt make all donkeys fast, that one is still just a donkey, with a very sore ass.... make sence now

lol danny may have a very sore arse pocket, where his wallet is burning

but seriously, i congratulate danny, and anyone who has the funds and balls to make their car something it was not, or provide it with that missing aspect the car manufacturor didnt see in their dream or couldnt do for what ever reason.

but the only time dannys monster will be mentioned from my mouth is when some nuff quips that FTO's are a crap car purely because of modding potential. danny is there as proof they are not. but i wont be stating FTO'sl sh*t on supra's or whatever because danny's might. cause mine sure as hell wouldnt :x

yeah off the lights (i dont have the suspension round corners)
btw my fto is a little bit of a freak.
maybe those 3 drivers dont know how to shift gears, though my friend just bought a 180sx(sr20det) with big front mount intercooler, huge exhaust, running nearlly 10psi, good for around 16kw at the wheels, and i beat him nearly by a car length, change cars and its the same result. yet highest dyno run i have gotten is 109kw.
but then again heard of the saying 'kw wins dyno comps, torque wins races' im guessing that explains it

yeah havent found an s2000, but looking at a stock s15 im sure a stock fto would be comparible (gpx manual) if not beat one has anyone else raced a stock s15 ?.
I mean they put out around 105 kw at the wheels and way 200kg more then an fto

How about Integra VTiR guys??? seems like its specs are pretty impressive!
price wise is similar to FTOs as well.
More performance parts to sort for, but i think FTO looks cool!
But not sure if compared to some close rivals like Integras, Celicas...

Interga in the same yr is a rival, Celica aka SillyCar are nothing more then a 2 door camry which happen to be even slower the camry.

And congratulation to you zuihoujueding, you the first newbie i've seen actually search first, then post. :D

lol man like 7 of my friends drive a civic, 1 of them has a manual vti-r and he doesn't even bother racing me (well we did for fun a couple of times) and got ripped right away, no chance at all?

and to the guy who said "even a GR has more torque" now what's that supposed 2 mean!! :x :P

a manual GR will just baely beat a auto/tip GPX but that's besides the point, vti-r stock have no chance vs a fto stock, plain and simple and no arguement to it.

yeah , just compared according to spec sheet. fto is much superior. But hondas have such overwhelming modding possibilties. wondering hows the modding scene in ftos in oz?

No comparison. Honda has way more parts, while there are hardly any parts for FTO in Oz.

Those who done a bit of work on there FTO will tell you, parts not just hard to get, but also a lot more expensive as well.
