Judging off my current knowledge and rate of learning (dont ask how they got this in 1 day? lmao) i am the equivelant to a year and a half already completed - and should get the apprenticeship on paper done in just over 2.5 years!
Starting out on $14 an hour, which is excellent for a first year as it only goes up - 50+ hours a week (7-5mon-thu, 7-230 fri and the occasional saturday if they open at all)
So stoked - just down the road, the whole team is friendly and awesome, garage has 8 hoists, a diesel fitter/mechanic car detailer and tyre fitting station and does everything under the sun so ill learn EVERYTHING. They had me changing tyres on the rims, changed ignition leads, tappet cover gasket and spark plugs on a couple of vans, and some dickhead filled his VW 4x4 with unleaded (diesel car) so that cost him 1300 as we had to replace everything up to and including injectors, and he lost the 80 litres of fuel he paid for

They have won numerous awards for their work and are well respected within brisbane, should be heaps of fun over the next few years.
