my man beats an rx 8 in a straight... but i tell you.. if i looked at a rotory i would be waiting for the new rx7 or buy the last one... rx8... meh! 350z better money spent IMHO

Ive driven these cars (rx8 350z) extensively for at least a week or 2 each and i can say that the Driveline and engine refinement in the Rx8 is allot better. Really smooth... gearbox is easy as... Suicide doors are cool too. The rx8 also feels allot lighter and nimble, but loses out on pure power

The 350z has more power and a firmer suspension, but its gearbox is really notchy and the engine is rough when revved. its also heavy... if uve played gt4 prologue( 350z convertable), its kinda like that
, maybe not that bad.. haha

The Rx8 is a better Everyday car , the 350z id keep for every 2nd day drives..

if anyone has seen a yellow rx8 manual number plate SHARP2?

Assuming you're referring to the red RX8 with INGS+ kit and 18" white rims, then 'AMUSE' is Alan's car... and yeah he does treat that car like a playground pretty hard, and he's prob gone through 3-4 different sets of rims in the past 7 months or so?? :shock:

but mehhh, it's all sound and show but not much chop performance wise IMO... just a really really expensive piece of rice

but damn it's a great looking piece of rice though'...

That's so true. I saw that car a few weeks ago and his got TE37s on.
Did he ended up selling the works and enkei rims?

given two equally talented drivers, the RX8 manual will beat a FTO. Auto RX8 i dont know.

Afterall the RX8 is only a 1.3 litre engine

Yes is 1.3L, but itâ€™s not your normal type of piston & cam type of engine. Never underestimate the power of rotary. Remember RX7 use the same engine.

ive seen some website stating that ftp gpx manual does 14.7 q/m
the rx8 does it in the 15's......
and my car has an exaust system...thats all....when i raced the rx8 (sharp2) i even had time to have a sip of coke between gear changes

i was joking dude! I know the potential of the mighty rotary. Yes it might be a 1.3L, but when it take into consideration the twin rotor, its not really a 1.3L.

mate, the RX8 did 0-100 in 6.58 and 400m in 14.58 in motor magazine. That fully stock, with at least half a tank of petrol.

Beating someone is a drag doesnt mean your car is the quicker car. a lot comes down to driver talent. If a car is proven to have acheived better times down the quarter etc, you drag it and win, doesnt mean your cars quicker, it means you beat the driver, period.
