Re: Can someone do me a favour in Victoria? :3
Well, I have been running this set up for 3+ years and never had a problem. Plus I added the monitoring module. I've rarely had the Vista signiture BSOD since service pack 2, some but not many.

EDIT: Just found the documents for the PC I built and using at the moment and I constructed it 07/2009. Man time flies by.i7 920 2.66Ghz, 2* Saphire HD4890 1G DDDR5, 3*2G DDR3 1600 Ram, Gigabite EX58 Extreme M/Board with onboard water cooling capabilities.

Not bad specs
and if that TT system works for you, then awesome
I've just heard a lot of bad things about them, that's all.
I'm glad I didn't get an off the shelf watercooling system though, I enjoyed picking all the parts, and putting them all together

I've said it before & I'll say it again, if you have to overclock a brand new pc, you've bought the wrong PC.
Hold off, save your coin, get the better processor.

Haha! No way! We buy the better/faster processors and then overclock it to gain even more performance. Just like we buy cars and modify them to improve their performanceBennoz wrote:I've said it before & I'll say it again, if you have to overclock a brand new pc, you've bought the wrong PC.

The joy of buying a $150 CPU and over clock it to match the same performance you get from a $350 CPU...... can only be measured by the length of our e-penis

Not necessarily, no point spending $100 extra on a better CPU when you can easily overclock a cheaper one and use that extra money you saved on another part.Bennoz wrote:I've said it before & I'll say it again, if you have to overclock a brand new pc, you've bought the wrong PC.

Also, Thermaltake is crap. Cheap components that have a high failure rate. Their cases are the worst culprits.
