Awesome build threads
Hey guys,
I thought I'd start a thread for people to link any nice build threads of FTOs that they've stumbled upon.
I'll start:
http://www.trackculture.com/forum/index ... 3-vr4-fto/

Thats awesome, especially that he did pretty much all of it himself.

I have something similar planned. Wether or not it ends up like that is a different story, thoughcrosso wrote:Thats awesome, especially that he did pretty much all of it himself.

Its gonna be a progressive build of my current bits and pieces and dropping a re-conditioned engine into a new shell. Depending on how bothered I am, I reckon up to 15 grand is needed.

If you dont have an ftooc account..

[QUOTE=Swissnic;576163]Once the floorpan was tacked in place, we check, re-checked, and double-check alignment. this is a one-time shot, and had to be perfect! We then tacked the pan in place, and checked for warping.
Once the pan was solid and could take the weight, we started fabricating the arches. Each was different.

Re: Awesome build threads
Hmm very interesting how theyve done it from an legnum, at least this proves that it can be done and AWD is possible, it will be interesting to see how an evo matches up compared to it, might possibly get away with less chopping
This makes me happy, happy in pants happy

Very interesting FTO there. Good find Bennoz
Taz, AWD FTO is nothing new... I've even seen one almost a decade ago in person using Evo parts.
Also in my other thread I posted the AWD rear end was taken from an Evo
