For those that don't get over to the UK site much, we just set a new FTO world record for the 1/4 mile

10.369 @ 149.16mph

Awesome time!

Sounds like it held first gear on the limit a bit long though, and a slow change? Could have been faster?

I was on the limiter because it span all the way through 1st gear, if I'd have changed gear any sooner it would have come off boost and bogged in 2nd....

As for faster gear changes lol its not possible to change any quicker I have a dog box I dont use the clutch and I don't come off the power just bang it straight from 1st to 2nd.

the fastest FWD Mitsi is probably Kiggly

I imagine some of the VR4 FTO's will run 12'-13's if they are lucky, there are some evo ones out there too, but you never hear of them doing much.

What Mitsubishi does Kiggly have?

12s is still quick for a street car though especially FWD.
The level of modification required to get into the 10s in a FWD car would simply make it unstreetable
