Re: Muffler for FTO (Is this stock?)
Just got another reply.
He seemed to be offended that I kindly told him 2.5" was optimal..
"triple flow muffler $150-200 fitted if it's a straight forward fit up
Could go up a bit if we have to modify pipework.
Standard system is 55mm Japs use metric tube we still use imperial
biggest restriction is the factory manifolds to cats and stock mufflers
the system will only flow as well as it's smallest point."
Does this sound like a reasonable price?
Thanks guys

Why would you go back to him?!
Find an exhaust shop that knows what they're talking about.

I rang so many exhaust shops back in the day saying this is what I want.
As soon as I found a shop that stopped telling me what I needed, they got my business!

Bro I got quoted a price lower then the tail silencer for a triple flow muffler and installation, that won't make my car sound like its diseasedTaz wrote:

Thanks for the suggestion though, I would have gotten one of them if the muffler was going to be a higher price.

Then your doing it wrong, or your exhaust is cheaper than $200 fully fitted, either way i give up - do what you feel is necessarycrosso wrote:Bro I got quoted a price lower then the tail silencer for a triple flow muffler and installation, that won't make my car sound like its diseasedTaz wrote:
