Steering shaft?
A stoke of luck or a gift from god?
The hand of fate or devil claws?

Was it lined up correctly to start with? Probably not. The 2 little holes should always line up...

I personally have copped it myself it's from not lining up the upper spring grommet with the spring causing it to catch.

HELP!!!
My pasenger side inner CV joint has had the dick, I need to find a new one.
I feel I should change both inners and outers while I am there.
I have found the $39 outer CV from Auburn, I phoned them and they don't have new inners, they can do the new outer and rebuild the inners for $200 a side with me removing the shafts and taking them in and waiting around for the day.
Any better suggestions?

I just replied to your other thread lol.

$200 a side is daylight robbery. I use an asian guy: Sydney Driveshaft

Retail, he's $90 a side... and he delivers for a small fee. They replace the outer CV, rebuild the inner. Plus give the shaft a coat of paint :hey:

Just phoned him and he can do them $90 a side, I can take them in the morning, hang around somewhere for the day and pick them up in the afternoon. I will take them this Saturday (if I can get them out Friday after work) or next Wed-Thur as I have holidays the end of next week.
Again thanks Bennoz :thumright: I knew you would come up with the best solution :cheeky:

Hmmmm, sounds tempting :D

 I know...........I could drive the FTO down, take out the shafts at yours, get TURBO driven to the shaft place, get them fixed while mowing your lawn, get TURBO driven back to yours, put them back on, drive FTO home

The local suspension shop did that when they put my Tein coilovers back together after the Fulcrum rebuild, they didn't line my two holes up. My steering was clunking, when I asked what the prob could be they told me upper bearings. Took me bloody ages (near to a year) to work it out and rectify it.
