Check the plug under the seat as it may not be pluged in fully.

thanks for that guys
i don't want to take the globe out as i hate it when stuff doesn't work as it is designed to. I'll check the plug under the seat. but i suspect it could be in the buckle it's self. has anyone been able to get inside these plugs to see how they are put together?
