Post by stoogey* »

Trying to reset my ECU after i plonked in a new stepper motor from eBay,

but mongoose immobilizer starts screaming when i try to disconnect the battery terminals.

any suggestions? or just disconnect for 30mins and let the neighbours deal with the noise lol

Why not just disconnect the speaker?

followed the speaker wires but couldn't find any points to disconnect it without cutting the wires.

however might be able to cram foam into the speaker so it's less loud lol.

after you disconnect the battery the immobilizer remote doesn't seem to be able to turn off the alarm. pretty annoying
