Veilside front bar group buy

Post by adzski »

Hello

We need 10 members well that the minimum
The price for the veilside front bar with 10 members is $250
With more the price will obviously go down

A link to the bar is below, its from ebay
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewi ... 5175271205

They are based in Melbourne so if your in Melbourne you can save on post and just pick it up, for members not in Melbourne in the description of the add it says post is $90 Australia wide however I will have to confirm this with the seller just to be sure

So who is keen?

Sorry If I'm about to burst a bubble. I'm not sure if youv spoken to Ben or other moderators about this

But I remember someone tried to do a rims group buy and this was said

Bennoz wrote:Yep, whilst you are welcome to use the forum for this, FTO Australia does not / will not approve, sanction or support group buys of second hand goods from overseas. Especially when its one of this value.

Australian law cannot not cover purchases made internationally & as such neither can we.

Please read before this before considering making a purchase in this manner: http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.ph ... mId/815341
Just thought I'd let you know incase somethig happens

Edit: realized that had to do with second hand items. But you get the gist :)

If its an Australian company I don't mind, but if its from overseas we have little to no recourse when things go wrong.
The only legal action that can happen is from a buyer to me the host of the buy, so not a fan.

Also be very wary of cheap body kits. There are questions you need to ask.
- Has anyone actually test fit one of these things?
- Where did he get his moulds from?
- Was it off an original or a copy?
- What are his returns policies?
- Who does he use for freight?
- How does he deal with items damaged in transit?

Also reading his ad, he only gives you a paltry 3 day turn around time to ensure the thing fits & can be returned. You need to ensure everyone is well aware of that.
We had a batch of bad body kits come in for a group buy a few years back & it was a nightmare. Nothing fit & he wouldn't refund.

1. we have sold to more than 50 different customers for this products.
2. our factory creat their own molds.

6. all our courier servics do provide free transit insurance. however, buyers are responsibile to check for the delivery before signing the confirmation. In case of damage in transit, buyers need to report us within 24 hrs upon the receive the item for the insurance lodgement and provide the according pictures for visual evidences. Fairlure to commite the above task will be regards as giving up the insurance claim.
7. all our products are made of fiberglass in black primer on surface unless specificed.

Mate to be honest, not trying to be harsh but I don't think you're going to manage to get 10 people willing to pay.

A lot of people on here already have aftermarket front bars,
and a lot of people don't like veilside front bars.

Might be best to just bite the bullet & buy one for yourself or you might be waiting forever.. just something to consider.

Goodluck anyway mate.
