New to club...Hello all
Hello
My name is Jacqueline and I am new to the club, I have a 97 model version R, have just spent some big dollars doing it up as my track car, new sparco v sprint seat, racing harness, toyoP888 semi slick tyres 225/45/17 med compound, had a 4 wheel alignment and dyno tuned, I have a major sponser so I am waiting for those advertising stickers to arrive.
Does anyone else attend track days? if so where and when are they on, I live 30mins from Wakefield Park NSW and am keen to go out with other FTOs.
anyway just wanted to say Hi to all

Hey,
Welcome to the club!
I think this is the car that turned up at the bonfire this year on the car trailer is it not (is there a cutout cold air induction outlet below the headlight on the drivers side of the front bar?)
Im probably one of the closer FTO's to you. Im 20 minutes from Batemans Bay on the kings highway (probably about an hour from you). Occasionally we have track days organised for wakefield. Shane (one of out members) has an FTO he races there every now and then as well.

Yes this is the same car, I have decided to keep it and use it as a track car, with a little one and living in the country rural area I didnt find it practical as an everyday car. Graeme has his car collection and is about to buy a group A car so I figured I might as well join the racing crew with my own car.

What size do you suggest? have down loaded through the image shack as was suggested, they suggested this size for a signature. Also I would like to set up an avatar but it keeps rejecting.

I did wonder whether you may have kept it in the family......Yes this is the same car, I have decided to keep it and use it as a track car, with a little one and living in the country rural area I didnt find it practical as an everyday car. Graeme has his Big Ugly Soap Box Racer collection and is about to buy a group A car so I figured I might as well join the racing crew with my own car.

Anyway, welcome to the club. Im not seeing the signature myself. I think mine is a couple of hundred pixels wide if that helps.

Hi Jacqueline, WTTC.
Your FTO looks cool, love the number plate
Sorry, had a sticky beak at your image shack album
......
Anyway is it the smurffette pic you are trying to use as your avatar?
I tried to make it my avatar and I got rejected too, I did get it too work by going to image shack - right click on smurffette-save picture as - put on my desktop - then upload from my machine in edit avatar.
Put my avatar pic back ASAP before anyone saw I was smurffette

Welcome to the club!
I must say that the first thing that caught my eye was that GT4 sticker by your rear wheel arch... Reminded me of the good 'ol days of FTO racing on GT4!
