What I want to do is use the AUX 1 output to turn the radio on without the key in the ignition I have all the wiring correct it's just the programming of the model you can set the aux output to 4 different modes
Validity: a momentary output so when you press the button it just switches on then off for like a boot pop
latched: it turns on when you push the button and doesn't turn off till you press the button again
Latched reset with ignition: same as latched just it will also turn off if you turn the ignition on then off again
Timed: a 30 second output
If I leave the aux as validity it works but because it's just a momentary pulse the radio turns on then off again but if I change the programming to latched the remote just does the error message at me when I press the aux button

Have you tried Latched reset with ignition, that's the one I would go for.
What's the error it gives?
and out of curiosity, as I'm looking at a similar alarm, did it come with all the wiring diagrams, and everything you needed for the install?

yeah it's has one big diagram with the controle module in the middle and then where all the wires need to go to around it then it explains all the connection in more detail in the book some of the connection have fairly vague terms but in the end you figure it out lol
o and if you don't already have central locking actuators you will need to buy some and and DEI 451M module to control them to the viper system or if you don't want to get the extra module it tells you how to wire up 2 relays instead but the module is a lot easier to use I don't know if they are expensive since i already had one due to I was just upgrading from the old viper system that came in it

O and I haven't tried the other one yet and it doesn't tell you what the error is that's my problem the remote just makes the error tone and flashes the error light at me

Ahh, that's good about the sheet, I've already got an alarm and central locking, so it shouldn't be all that hard for me to wire it up.
but that's also weird about the error
You may have to contact them about it

Ok turns option 3 but 2 won't thanks for the suggestion now it turns on with the button then if I hop in turn the car off and drive somewhere then turn the car off it will turn it off for me and I have wired it so that it will also turn on normally without the remote so if anyone in Brisbane needs help with anything like this I am now practically an expert at this alarm lol
