He had issues with his sunroof.
I think everyone with the sunroof has issues, and issues with their sunroof.

Can't say I've had any issues with mine at all.
Although the rubber seal seems reasonably new.

Only if you're running sh*t rotors...

Plenty of info on this forum about brakes :D

Hint: Search.
Question: How many facepalms we up to now Daniel ;)
Couple things - many people also have issues with GPX brakes warping (not just me!) for whatever reason. Second, this isnt about my sh*tty engine reco, its about brakes

Edit - Also, I think Im wording this incorrectly. By brakes I mean rotors. Come to think of it I shouldnt have been generalising it all as just "brakes"

Its coz they are old and have been machined a thousand times that they warp anyways... Still going strong on my 15 year old rotors

Can you point out the 'many people' please?

I've just searched this forum & the term 'warped rotors' only gives 50 results. Half of which are in this thread

Yes I too have had warped rotors on the missus car, but yes, they were 15 years old & had I'd had them machined twice. God know what the previous owner had done to them.

The mechanic that did my dad's brakes on the falcon also said that FTO discs have a tendency to warp when we wont to him for a quote on RDAs.
The mechanic down the road from me also said the same.
And lawso.

As you said, its probably due to the fact that theyre old and have been machined too many times, etc. especially after being used for 12-17 years.

Sorry, but backyard mechanics know crap all about FTOs.

They've had some kid roll in that swore his car was fine, and now has rooted rotors, as he A, didn't know how to drive. B, has factory rotors, or C, has a mechanic who saw the dollar sign when he walked in.

Warped rotors on FTOs are a non existent problem.

I dare say Payaya has more of a case with Stepper Motor.

And sorry, but Lawso is hardly a good casing point.
And I would even say that directly to Lawso! *I had the pleasure along with Aza of replacing his left rear caliper/ rotor and pa... oh wait.*

the seal was ok. just maybe a little water drop will pass through during pressure wash. but the rails wasnt in it's best shape, one of the component broke, making the glass bit sitting in and angle, which turn it into a automatic sunroof that need "manual overide". haha. the rail itself cost a bomb from mitsubishi and no aftermaket parts when i when to see a sunroof repair

i swear i've heard stock rotors warp easily, which is why aftermarket choices are a lot better.
