Totalled my FTO!!! (no more conversion) PICs

Had an accident in Lithgow Main street

, was driving in the town in a 50km/h zone. drove up a hill and once the car reach the sudden dip down, lost control over the steering, instead of following the curvy road, drove straight into a parked Hilux with tow bar. engine still starts but by the look of it, it will be a write off. weather was very bad and cops said its an accident prone junction.

my question is, will i be able to get the car back after claiming the insurance( buy it off their hand before they get rid of it) as i have a lot of parts i want to keep/pull out. i might consider to get another FTO and swap everything in.

is it worth the trouble?

anyone had experience in this please enlighten me

depends on who you insured with, Im with Shannons and they have a buy back offer if the car is written off

yes, that is my only achivement. move the hilux towards the gutter by an inch

I was surprised as well,was worried how much damage i had cost on the other car, not so after that when my vision showed Hilux on the ute

at least if you can buy that off NRMA there seems to be a lot salvagable, even the wheels and strut braces look good, suspension etc
