Re: Custom Tailight Build
Not quite ready for the next pictures yet, but have it a lot closer now. Into high fill putty i most places and have simplified the back more and filled in the bulb holes. Have also spoken with the fibreglasser and at present we are looking at a 2 piece mould per unit if it goes ahead (much like a wing is done. I have to call the LED guy again and have a chat and I am yet to work out the best person to contact re perspex lenses. Still only done the one side so far, but I think I can get the other side done quicker now ive got something to work off. All in all, progressing nicely.

Re: Custom Tailight Build
You dont know how much I contemplated something like that. But in the end, I didnt want to produce something that would require people to cut into their rear bar (even though most LED's are 10cm across - too big for our stock cases). Im trying as much as possible to produce something that will be a direct replacement for the existing units. Also, not sure if the indicators in that set would be legal as they arent on the corner of the car any more.
