I take it Suzitech? was that who did your manual conversion?

Should be relatively simple given you do have the front cut with all wiring and factory computer.

I dare say, a splice here a splice there, use the entire vr4 loom with the odd bit of fto ware amongst it, and it should be good to go.

pending you have 2.5" exhaust minimum and a new fuel pump, then the issues 'should' be reasonably minimal.

Again, never done this, and Bens thread is a better resource than my speculation.
But it's not far off from how I did my conversion, and on a whole, it was piss easy.

yes, Suzitech. they did the manual conversion in 2 days for me .I was there yesterday and we weorked out some issues so will be fabricating the extractors to fit the engine, move battery to boot, move anything that will be too close to turbo (heat damaged), need better brakes (not sure if the half cut come with it). they reckon drive in drive out 2 weeks.

yes i do have 2.5" all the way and intend to keep it that way and i might be getting an evo fuel pump or after market depending on what i can find. will try to source out a LSD when i go back to Malaysia and compare price. maybe some Ultra Racing Bars.

all the mods done to the car will also support the conversion like the coilovers, the new semi slicks and the cusco front and rear strut. so i am pretty happy with this decision.

a more experience person will be able to answer that.
you are more then welcome to bring your car to the workshop and do some on the spot measurement and comparison once i get the halfcut ( provided you are in sydney) prob get some professional advise from the owner of the workshop as well
or I can take pictures of parts you needed to know if it will fit and send it to you.

Couple of things mate..

You will need a bigger exhaust. They binned mine 5 seconds into tuning, 2.5" is too small & restrictive.

The rear turbo will foul against the firewall. Envy hand made my rear manifold to move the turbo away from the firewall & brake lines. I had them make a jig for it too as I knew others would need it, Mitch had them make one for him as well (now Andrews car.) So if you want one, I'd get them onto it sooner rather than later.

You will need a better fuel pump. A 255L intank Walbro should suffice for you, I'd also get an aftermarket FPR, the Mitsi factory units aint real good at holding a constant pressure.

If you plan on going over 12-14 pound boost, you'll need better coil packs. Stock units get blow out the higher the boost.

You'll need a boost controller. I also recommend upgrading the wastegates. Factory units are sh*t.

You'll also need a better clutch & stronger engine mounts.

Be prepared for the price of a timing belt lol, the cheapest place you can get them is Mitsubishi & they're still $220 odd bucks.

Have a very close look at the Meek website, they stock a lot of Legnum parts at competitive prices (seals timing belts, tensioners, tappets etc). They also do all the Ralliart MH90 hardness engine mounts for Evos which fit out cars.

Thanks Akys, though I didn't mean if it'll physically fit (I know it will) but rather whether it'll be able to get engineered with a 2500cc engine

It's a gray area spetz.
It falls in to 2 different category of issues, not just the capacity of the engine in your case.

And cheers for chiming in Bennoz, did give Akys a tiny bit of that info by PM, but wasn't 100% sure.
2.5" was the factory size however wasn't it? Then again, may as well go for a bit more power in those situations given you're doing all the other work.

so do i just contact envy for the rear manifold?
was gonna stay 2.5" but i'll look into it.
and i plan to run stock boost atm so do i still need a boost controller and wastegate?
