Personally I don't understand the choice. It's big, ugly and has permanently destroyed your dashpad. And it's not even in direct line of sight. Sorry Ben to be critical but in this rare case I really can't understand why you would choose this shift light, and why you would mount it where you have?

New bonnet taking shape. All the measuring & marking up done. Then some drilling, then some radius cutting.
Next week, will be using the nibbler to cut out the remainder of material between the corners. Then mesh tacked in, then respray
