I know this is related to a different forum but i will be attending and was just interested if anyone would want to have a pre-meet and then move on to this event as a group to help represent the spaceship??
For those who don't know WSID is sydney drag way located at Eastern Creek, is a pretty central location to sydney and surrounding suburbs easily accessible by motorways from all directions.
I have been to a few of these meets before and some of the quality of the cars in attendance is crazy, any enthusiast will be amazed.
official flyer as per below - event starts at 6pm.
Can you post up a web link please, so I can see more info

[NSW] JDMST EOMM - APRIL 2012 @ WSID
Friday 27th April 2012.
6pm till late.
Thanks to Top Secret Imports (TSI) and Fernando Wiehrl (Project D Drift School) we've secured the WSID car park @ Eastern Creek for this month's JDMST EOMM!
GOLD COIN DONATION on the night. 100% proceeds go towards charity.
ZERO hoon behaviour. All number plates will be taken on entry, offenders will have their plates passed on to local Police. Respect the surrounding local community on the way to and from the meet.
End Of Month Meet (EOMM) RULES
When you attend a JDMST EOMM you are representing JDMST. Please respect staff on location, business and property owners, residents in the surrounding area, security and the police.
When entering, existing, or partaking in an EOMM, there is to be:
- NO engine revving
- NO burnouts
- NO loud music
- NO inappropriate behaviour
basically just a big show n shine event, i guess for the more jdm enthusiasts its good to get some ideas off other cars, get into the 'community' etc.
They are good if your into that kind of thing, can be some real top cars at some of these - and they are usually kept on the down-lo so all the commie/ford/p plate drivers etc dont attend and flood the event
Worth a first try at the very least
As taz said it is more or less a big show and shine type event, but as it is related to the online community everyone is very welcoming and up for a chat about the cars.
here is a link to a video of a previous meet... sums up the meet well, not so sure about the music or editing style :\ haha (p.s. not sure how to embed the video... )
All number plates will be taken on entry, offenders will have their plates passed on to local Police
Do they litteraly take the plates off your car or just note down the number?
Do you park in a different location to the show cars or is everyone on show?

my logical guess would be that they are just going to write a list of peoples plates on entry.
everyone parks in the same area which is why i think it would be great to have a pre-meet a) to introduce ourselves and b) arive/park together.
i think you guys are missing the point of these types of meets. they are community based and focus on bringing an online community together in an offline situation to admire and discuss the
cars that are followed on the forums.
Sounds like fun, I will see if I can make it, will let you know

Gholdy!
Are you going to go on Friday? - I was considering it, and We need to catch up!
I'm trying to think of a "central(ish)" place we can meet before heading onwards to the event. First place that sprung to mind is Reservoir Rd Maccas, just off the M4 and just down the rd from Eastern Creek.
i tried to show what i mean on the attached map.
also how about starting a list of people attending just so we dont leave anyone behind??
