So did they call you too, or what? I don't understand...

Well, I think I'm quite happy the way this has turned out, I think now that this is actually happening, some people will stop being so sceptical about this

It's good that we got this done, even if it's just in VIC at the moment, but hopefully from this, we can build a good relationship with SPEED Magazine, for future events or maybe more features. :)

Boris: we feature in magazines a couple of times a year and have done so for the last few years... ;)

unfortunately it has only been NSW/VIC to date... we're working on other states just need them to have more members ;)

sorry chief, i was going to but i got held up with work and it got really hectic so i completely forgot about it, plus there was this unbelievably hot chick who walked past my office so i got really distracted, then my PC crashed so i was cursing like there was no tomorrow, until i realised it was time for me to go home, and i completely forgot to do my grocery shopping (so i cursed again)

oh and then there was this one time, at band camp....................

Steve, I wasn't saying that we never got featured, I'm aware of the above, I was only talking about "Speed", and how we got a feature with them...

One of the guys from Speed magazine called me again today, to get more info on my car. He told me that our feature will be out in 6 weeks. It will be the one after the next issue still to come out. So we have to wait a little bit longer. :(

speed mag interview

Post by tarkus »

They rang me a couple of times for the interview. So the "old fart" will get his piccy in the magazine. Mine is bog standard so they just used me as the baseplate. Mind you most of the photos they took of mine show the FTO Australia sticker, so I might not even get my ugly hairy face in there.

Well, got Issue 15 today, have to say that there are lot's of Mitsubishi's in this issue, I even got a huge EVO 8 Poster... :D

Also, a really cool article on how to photograph cars! Very usefull...

Now, back on topic, in this issue, there is a letter in reaction time from David, (paladin I think), with his engine failure story, how ever, SPEED used MADFTO's picture beside it!!!! (Page 20) :|

Next fto picture, is in "Japfest 2004" article there is a crazy ass engine bay of an fto, that's color coded in white/red... very hard to describe, looks really sweet! (Page 113) :D
